Members of Bunge la Mwananchi, Ongata Rongai/Kajiado county led by their lawyer and clerk Saka Suleiman addressed the press in Rongai a few days ago where they rejected the proposed finance and housing bill. They said that the majority of Kenyans are suffering from high cost of living and if the two bills especially the finance bill is passed it will make the lives of many Kenyans become even more difficult.
“There was no enough public participation done before the finance bill was taken to parliament. So, we totally reject it, “they said. The members added that if the finance bill is passed it may lead to many Kenyans going to the streets to demonstrate against it.
Solomon Onunga representing people living with disabilities in the group said that if the finance bill sails through many people with different disabilities will suffer more through job losses.
