Tragic Loss: Nairobi Policeman Stabbed To Death At Kalenjin Party In Embakasi

An administration police officer attached to the national police service headquarters at Jogoo house was stabbed to death in the wee hours of today (Saturday)at a bar in Embakasi, Nairobi. A police report filed by the manager of Blackwood Bar and Restaurant at Villa police station Kennedy Mutunga indicates that the officer was stabbed at the bar where a Kalenjin night event going on.

“At around 04.50 hours there was a commotion at the parking yard and one gentleman got stabbed,” the police report read. The report added that police officers from the station rushed to the scene and found the late officer lying dead in the pool of blood with a deep cut on the right side of his neck. Police indicated that upon searching his body they found out that he was their colleague attached to Jogoo’s house.

His body was moved to Mama Lucy mortuary hospital for preservation as it awaits autopsy. Police are currently conducting investigations into the matter to establish what led to the officer being stabbed to death. They are zeroing in on two theories of a love affair or revenge mission.
