Kakamega town was abuzz with excitement on Monday as the Coca-Cola Christmas caravan rolled through, spreading festive cheer and bringing business to a standstill. Residents turned out in droves to witness the magical event, with many walking away with delightful Christmas gifts, including goats, chickens, and food hampers.

The festive giveaway lit up the holiday spirit, bringing smiles to families and making celebrations brighter. The event kicked off at Quickmart supermarket, where the caravan began its journey through the town, creating unforgettable moments and sparking joy among residents.

The Coca-Cola Christmas caravan, a cherished annual tradition, celebrates togetherness and generosity. Hamsa Yahuma, one of the lucky winners, expressed his heartfelt gratitude after winning a goat and other festive goodies for his family.

“I was just taking a walk in town when I saw the Coca-Cola Christmas caravan at Quickmart supermarket. I decided to check it out and ended up winning a goat and other gifts,” Yahuma said joyfully. He urged everyone to embrace the spirit of giving, saying, “Let us come together and share with the less fortunate so they too can afford a smile this Christmas.”

The caravan, which began its nationwide tour on December 2 at the Coca-Cola Embakasi plant in Nairobi, has so far visited regions including Eastern, Mt. Kenya, Rift Valley, Western, and Nyanza.

“Today marks the official start of the festive season,” said Ampher Apidi, Experiential Marketing Manager at Coca-Cola Beverages Africa Kenya. “We invite everyone to join us in sharing a Coke, a meal, and the joy of giving.”

This year, Coca-Cola’s “Real Magic” campaign emphasizes the power of human connections and acts of kindness.

“Christmas for Coca-Cola is about more than just festivities. It’s about coming together to celebrate the relationships that matter most,” Apidi reaffirmed. “This year, we are delivering magical, kindness-filled experiences to communities across the country.”

The Coca-Cola caravan continues to spread the holiday spirit, reminding everyone of the true essence of Christmas: sharing, kindness, and togetherness.
