The Kenya Tourism Board (KTB) has appointed SLC Representation, a leading UK-based travel agency, to drive growth in the number of tourists visiting Kenya from the United Kingdom.
SLC Representation is tasked with engaging the travel trade, executing impactful marketing campaigns, and inspiring UK travellers to experience the magic of Kenya. According to UK travel news outlets, the agency will also revamp the Magical Kenya Training Programme, providing travel agents with in-depth knowledge of Kenya’s diverse attractions and equipping them to confidently promote the destination.
In addition, SLC will strengthen Kenya’s relationships with key travel operators, tour operators, and media outlets, ensuring the country meets its tourism marketing objectives.
Kenya’s tourism infrastructure has seen significant improvements, including the introduction of premium train carriages on the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR), which connects Nairobi to the coast, a popular route also served by hourly flights to destinations like Mombasa, Diani, Malindi, and Lamu.
