Namulondo’s Journey from Miscarriages to Motherhood Against All Challenges

For years, Namulondo, a 32-year-old woman from central Uganda, suffered repeated miscarriages. She and her husband, Ssebunya, had tried for nearly a decade, but every pregnancy ended in loss. Doctors found no medical explanation, yet the heartbreak continued.

Namulondo watched other women carry pregnancies to term while she grieved alone. Relatives whispered, and some blamed her. Deep inside, she felt something wasn’t right. Then, one evening, her grandmother spoke words that changed everything: “Not all eyes that see you wish you well.”

Her grandmother explained that envy and jealousy could bring misfortune, what they called ekifi (the evil eye). Some people’s negative energy, even if unintentional, could harm others. Namulondo recalled how every time she announced a pregnancy, some people’s smiles seemed forced, their eyes lingering too long. Could this be the reason behind her miscarriages?

Desperate for answers, she sought help from the Kiwango Doctors, well-known for breaking curses and offering spiritual protection.

After performing a spiritual reading, the Kiwango Doctors confirmed her fears, her pregnancies had been spiritually attacked. They immediately performed a cleansing ritual to remove lingering negative energy and gave her a protection charm.

They also advised her to:

Keep her next pregnancy private.

Perform a midnight prayer for protection.

Use special herbs around her home to block harmful energies.

Namulondo followed their instructions carefully. Months later, she conceived again, but this time, everything felt different. No sudden sickness, no unexplained pains. For the first time, she carried her pregnancy to term.

Nine months later, she gave birth to a healthy baby boy. Overwhelmed with joy, she and Ssebunya named him Mugabi, meaning one who brings good fortune. Holding him in her arms, she knew the protection spell had worked.

Today, Namulondo warns other women to be cautious of the evil eye and to protect their energy. Thanks to the Kiwango Doctors, her home is now filled with the laughter of the child she had prayed for all those years.
