Cases of perennial water shortages in Kaptien Village, Toro Sub Location, Sirende Ward in Trans Nzoia County will soon be a thing of the past after the County government commissioned a water project worth Ksh. 3 million. The project is being undertaken by the County’s Department of Water and Environment as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
The Water Supply Project Will benefit AIC Kaptien Primary and Secondary school, Kaptien Dispensary and the local community. Trans Nzoia County Governor George Natembeya who spoke during the commissioning of the water project said his administration expected a hydrological survey report to enable his administration to avail water on a timely basis to alleviate perennial water shortage.
