A confidential report released by the Kenya Electricity Generating Company (KenGen) dated 20th February 2023 titled “All contracts award for the period 1st-16th February 2023” meant for the board of directors and the management only reveals how KenGen awarded attender through direct procurement to Safari Park hotel KBN-SGN-01-2022 for the provision of venue and one-stop shop for AGM valued at a cost of Ksh. 5,698,800.
According to the report, the tender opening date was 12th January 2023 while the evaluation completion date is 16th January 2023 while tender award date is marked as 17th January 2023 while the date of notification of award to Safari Park Hotel was on 19th January 2023. The contract was signed on 13th February 2023 while the contract’s expiry date is 13th May 2023.
