Senator Boni Khalawle has called on the president to dismiss agriculture CS Mithika Linturi from the cabinet over his involvement in the fake fertilizer scam that rocked the country rece.
Also on the senator’s wrath was Kakamega governor Fernandes Barasa, who is also alleged to have been involved in the fertilizer scandal after bags of substandard fertilizer were nabbed by the police at a storage facility within Malava sub county of Kakamega.
The Senator was addressing mourners at the funeral of Chemuche ward aspirant Isaac Ndunde Karakacha in Mukava village in Malava. He further asked the president to also crack the whip on health cabinet secretary Susan Nakhumicha for failing to address the doctors’ strike on time; the strike lasted for months. He said the two CSs were a disgrace to the Kenya Kwanza administration.
