Kiambu Nominated MCA Dies Following A Tragic Road Accident

A nominated member of the Kiambu County Assembly (MCA) Ezra Kihara has died following a road accident along Thika Road on Sunday morning. Police indicated that Kihara’s vehicle collided with a truck and subsequently caught fire near Mang’u High School.

“The accident occurred at approximately 5:30 a.m., Juja Sub-county Police Commander Michael Mwaura confirmed. Mwaura added that the late MCA’s body was taken to Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home near Kabati in Murang’a County awaiting a postmortem and burial arrangement. He added that the wreckage of the vehicle had been towed to Juja Police Station as police continued with the investigations over the accident. Following the tragic incident, his colleagues remembered him as a cooperative and helpful individual committed to serving the public.

Members of the Kiambu County Assembly visited the morgue to view the body of their deceased colleague after receiving the sad news. One of the MCA`s said he was shocked by the sad news indicating that Kihara was a cooperative man and readily served members of the public whenever required to.
