“We are happy that the president heard our plea to have Dr. Betty appointed as she has what it takes to revamp, fix and rehabilitate where possible any shortcomings affecting our education in this country, and for we as the Kabras people we are optimistic that through her we will be able to have a university branch at Malava considering that the proposal was already in place and several locations identified and approved for construction, and this will go a long way in empowering our youngsters to join ether the campus or the Kenya Medical College that is also under construction”-Professor Philip Wanjala Mugonyi of Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST)
